Jonathon Connolly is a RIBA Chartered Architect based in Tunbridge Wells Kent, whose focus is helping clients create carefully crafted new spaces to live in.

Often dealing with existing, listed and heritage buildings, the studio has worked on architectural projects that range in scale from small housing extensions to restoring historic farmhouses and designing new family homes.

Jonathon Connolly began his career working with several leading architecture practices in London. He worked on office, residential and mixed-use developments and landscape design projects before qualifying as an architect and founding his own practice.

Jonathon Connolly Architect has a good understanding of the complexities involved with renovation projects and enjoys adapting existing spaces. Experienced in working with listed buildings, Jonathon Connolly is skilled in restoring the original character of a property. The architect takes care to respect a building’s heritage and craftsmanship, whilst creating new, modern spaces. These projects are highly rewarding allowing the client and architect to remodel a property to the client’s needs. 

The process of making objects by hand underpins the work of the studio, whose emphasis on craftsmanship is visible in both the development and construction of projects. The artistry central to Jonathon Connolly’s work is influenced both by his First Class degree in Fine Art as well as years of hands-on experience in the building industry working with contractors. 

Jonathon Connolly’s work takes him throughout Kent and Sussex, and as far as Cambridge, depending on the project.
